i’m sitting here in my computer class trying to pay attention, but all i can think about is driving around liberty city stealing cars and creating other carnage. i’m a pretty big loser, this week. but seriously, that game is soooooo good…

okay, here’s my real christmas wish, with some background first. i went to high school with a bunch of wonderful and fun and intelligent people in aurora, illinois. since graduation of course all of my friends scattered to various universities all over the country (places like boston, new york, philadelphia, baltimore, and champaign). in addition, this semester my best friend in college (maybe) is in australia. next semester, another best friend is going to florence, italy, and one, possibly two are going to edinburgh, scotland. i also just found out that i really like talking to someone who lives in toronto.

my complaint: why can’t the coolest people i know in the world all be in one place at any one time? i’d be in blissful happy moods all the time if i could spend more of my life with these people. but circumstances are against me.

my solution: rocket car. i’m not kidding. i want more than anything, if i think about it, to just be able to see my friends whenever i want, wherever they are. if i had a rocket car capable of insanely high speed travel, i could live a contented, happy existence, visiting people no matter where they are in the world. i could just take an afternoon jaunt to boston and see some friends, drop in at university of illinois for dinner with some others, maybe stop by houston to say hi to mom and dad, and be back before sunday morning in time to do homework. it’d be perfect, me in my rocket car, whizzing through the skies with a big grin on my face because i don’t have to miss anyone anymore.

so, if anyone wants to make my lifetime, you know what to do for christmas. leave a rocketcar with a bow on it in my driveway christmas morning and i’ll love you forever.
