blogging from my room because we finally looked up the university dialup number. the ETA on our DSL is tuesday now, and the closer we get the more i realize i’m looking forward to being hooked in again. it sure will be nice.
still hanging in there — lots of things floating around at the moment but nothing’s getting nailed down really. i might be about to switch to a new internship which doesn’t pay, which means i may need to find a second job, since i may be buying a car soon. i may have to reconfigure my school schedule because i may or may not be able to get into the classes i planned on getting into to complete the minor i might not be able to finish up before next spring. and of course there’s the senior-year question of what exactly do i want to happen to me when the college adventure wraps up in 10 months.
things are pretty decent though. great big 21st birthday party tonight for a dear friend, and more dear friends are finally moving into our house here this week, so this place will be full and fun-filled before you know it. and possibly the best part is that i think i’m back on the upswing after a certain pivotal evening — sometimes i think a few words or a single look can be all it takes to snap you out of something and set you back on track. so it’s back to living it up and looking for trouble (i.e. girls) just like it should be. at least mostly.
soon i’ll be fully connected and we’ll be back to daily writing (i can’t wait) and songs of the week (i bet you can’t either) and all the collapsing you know you miss. i know i do.
[now hearing this: recover demos on mp3. scrumptious.]
