holiday break is over fools, time to get back to blogging.

christmas break was a great mix of family and friends, and i managed to sneak in a few afternoons of chilling out with some video games in there as well. the second straight year of bowling with the high school buddies was excellent, even if i overindulged once again. seeing pat and dom were good nights too. and being home for the christmas stuff was great as it always is.

new years in vegas shortly after was a huge success too. our group ended up being 12-strong and all had a very festive evening without anyone getting punched, lost, throwing up or totally broke, although i managed to come closest to the latter. ‘if only i’d quit while i was ahead’ proves once again to be something i should write in big block letters on my gambling hand as a constant reminder whenever within the nevada state lines.

now it’s back to work after a ten day break that felt like a month’s worth of vacation fun, and time to think about new year’s resolutions and best-of lists for ’06 this week too. today though is just about adjusting my brain to being back in the real world, so i better get on that before i forget i’m at work and decide to take a nap or something.
