one of the things i’ve picked up reading various articles relating to my internship (for this marketing firm specializing in the online arena) is the term “stickiness”, which is a good thing for your website to have. it means that people stay there for a long time once they visit, and that you leave more of an impression on them. one way to make your website more sticky for your audience is of course frequent updates. new content is important. and it’s strange to me that now that i know at least a half dozen or so people probably read this somewhat regularly, i know i have an audience. that, in turn, instills me with this small pressure to write something for those glorious few readers even when i wouldn’t have otherwise — because i want them to stay, and think this is a good place to be, and ultimately, although this may be misguided, to like me (or what i have to say at the very least). so despite not having much to relay to you out there, i felt i should at least say hello so i can keep my site “sticky”.
so hey everybody. good morning. nice to see you.
oh wait, i do have a few things to record. i stayed half an hour late last night at work, so i came in a half hour late this morning. extra sleep is so welcome. it felt great. also: i started the unbearable lightness of being last night and so far i’m in love with it. i really hope that feeling lasts. and in conclusion: i have to move to my schooltime apartment building (two doors down the street) starting tonight and finishing before noon on saturday. i really hate moving. or at least packing and carrying things. unpacking is fine, but i couldn’t find anyone to do the first half for me, so this is just going to be a pain. but at least it’s the last day of the work week and the jimmy concert is on saturday. rock and roll.
